Poster design mockups

In the interest of full disclosure, these suck shit lmao.

I put these both together in PicsArt on my phone, and for the second one I used a free trial of I think it was the Pro version? I was inspired by some classic Frankfurt-Gips-Balkind (now known as InSync Plus) poster designs such as the ones for Alien and Rosemary’s Baby, that one End of Evangelion poster with everyone floating in LCL and some word salad slapped on top, and of course the promo campaign for Longlegs (shoutout to NEON the absolute GOATs when it comes to movie promo campaigns).

For the most part I was going for a vintage vibe that feels ever so slightly off, so I slapped a bunch of filters and weirdcore stickers on one of the default PicsArt wallpapers, then did the same with an image of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion in Connecticut that serves as the location of the Men’s Association HQ, not just in the original film but in the 2004 remake as well. The weirdcore stickers are mostly just to communicate the internal monologues of the Stepford Wives of the 21st century, being free-willed women who are kidnapped and locked up inside their own minds, having no choice but to watch their bodies go throughout life on autopilot through their own eyes.

I also made a little moodboard for the kind of vibe I was going for, and I can’t say for sure if I nailed it, but I definitely gave it a shot.
